Sole proprietor and web designer in advertising/promotions company. Responsible for all interaction with prospective and current clients. Creation of graphical user interfaces for web sites, in cooperation with graphic designer. Installation of web applications software. Experienced in: HTML and light programming of such languages as javascript, CGI, ASP, and PHP. Familiar with administration of Unix based web servers. Unix server experience includes file management, via the web and via command prompt, site traffic reports with Webalizer, and site/intellectual property security with robots.txt and .htaccess files, installation, customization, and management of CMS, blogging, and shopping cart software.
Achievements:
- Successful launch of e-commerce web site for PSDesign, with homemade items from New Energy Concept employees and colleagues, including t-shirts, toys, and stationery.
- On-line marketing campaign of local country bar, Lorie’s Lounge, including banner ad promotion and e-commerce web site, with affiliate programs.
- Completion of several on-line courses with Ziff-Davis University, including Internet Business Strategy, Building an Online Community, Internet Advertising, and Intro to UNIX.
- Successful organization and planning of local versions of the renowned Fray Day events, promoting local artists, writers, and musicians. Fray Day is an extension of the Fray.com website, an on-line storytelling venue. The Fray Day celebration of storytelling is an annual, global event. Guam participated in 2001 & 2002. Organization and planning of the event included directing volunteers in the processes of advertising, promoting, obtaining performers and sponsors, securing a venue location, and physical preparation for the night of the event.

Assists in the planning, developing, establishing and maintaining of efficient display, signing and merchandise presentation program for retail, food and services activities at Fort Rucker AAFES facilities. Develops, assembles and installs decorative displays to enhance sales. Noted for proficiency, productivity and artistic ability.
- Successful implementation of graphical email “Buddy List,” with info events, sales, and specials delivered via email to local customers.
- Introduction of work order process, to ensure timely delivery of VM products, as well as accountability. The work order system is also used to track trends in product requests in order to plan ahead, which facilitates meeting budgetary requirements.

Creation, modification and termination of customer accounts, using Nifty Telnet and Better telnet, to access UNIX shell capabilities on the server.
